Each piece in our Imperfect Edit is genuinely one of a kind — slight variations in colour, texture, or the occasional small mark on the reverse that make every rug entirely its own. Still beautiful. Just not quite perfect. Please note there are no returns on imperfect products.

UK: We offer free delivery on all orders with Royal Mail & DHL. We aim to despatch all orders before 1pm the same day.

USA & EU: We offer free worldwide delivery on all of our Single and Double Sheepskins. Due to the Size of our Quattro & Sexto Rugs we charge a small fee of $27. There are no additional duties or taxes to pay on international orders.

Our British rare breed rugs are made entirely in the UK — from native sheep to traditional tanning in the Yorkshire Dales — at the last remaining commercial sheepskin tannery in Britain.

Unlike many so-called ‘British’ rugs tanned overseas, ours offer full traceability and true local craftsmanship. Undyed and naturally varied, each rug reflects the rich character of over 50 native breeds.

An Entirely British Rug

Our British sheepskin rugs are from British sheep and tanned in the Yorkshire Dales by a 3rd generation family business family who have been working in the wool industry since the 1960’s.

Each and every rug is still to this day hand finished by Richard (pictured here) who is now in his mid 80’s. Each sheepskin is entirely natural and has been draw from over fifty British breeds of white or naturally coloured sheep.

Sadly, most British rugs to this day are from British sheep but tanned overseas in mainland Europe. We are incredibly proud to work with the last remaining British commercial sheepskin tannery ensuring that our rugs are entirely British made and tanned.
